load web server as needed after hs already running?

Go to view > options > web server (tab) Change the port number from 80 to 81 and this chbges the port on which HS runs the web server. Now if you wnat to view it from the web you have to add the port to the end of your URL for example 12.219.156.23:81

If I have hs's web server running I cannot access my remote pc access web server as I only get the logon for the hs web server when I attempt to connect.

I'm guessing you mean different internet ports. How would I do this?

Have you tried running the servers on different ports so they can run at the same time?

When you say "blocks this" what exactly do you mean? If both of the "servers" share the same port then simply change the port that HS web server runs on.

I would like to be able to load the hs web interface only as needed after loading homeseer.

I use a Eudora email filter to trigger loading another server program for remote control of my pc and having hs's web server running blocks this.

If I could load hs's web server separately I would set up another Eudora email filter for doing so.
