Web Browser Active X Control default styles- altering?

Anyone know if there's a way to alter the default styles for Microsoft's Active X Web Browser control? I want the font for tag TD to be different (larger) by default. So that web pages displayed on my TV are legible. Maybe that ActiveX uses the same registry values as Internet Explorer itself - don't know. For now, I have some messy VB code to do on-the-fly editing of the HTML to change the fonts. Yucky.

I'm using a VB program which uses the ActiveX control to get and display a fixed 800 x 600 pixel display which goes to a VGA to Video convefter.

This shows a TV Program guide on the video input of my TV, as well as weather and other stuff from the web, and the HomeSeer pages too.

    TIA
