No web page access unless AOL is Online??

I have comcast cable as my ISP and use AOL thru the cable company. The only way I can get access to my Homeseer Web page from my computer is if AOL is running and online. I can't even get to the web page with Localhost unless I sign on to AOL. Oddly enough it can be accessed from web by another computer regardless of weather AOL is runnung on my computer. Any ideas?

    Thanx Bill

My first guess would be that AOL is runnig sometype of a proxy server. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Select the connections tab. The select lan settings and see if anything associated with AOL is listed there.
