    Web Server on Windows 98?

    Hi all,

Well, after a lengthy installation process on the ThinkPad 365XD (inoperable CD-ROM drive, installing network card files from floppy, repartitioning the hard drive, tracking down the MS Y2K fixes, finally getting HomeSeer installed), I finally only have one problem.

The web server won't start. The error log says "Cswsk32.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered."

Will that work on Windows 98 first edition? What else do I need to do?

    Thanks,
    Jason

A quick search turned up dozens of threads just like this one:

I think you'll find an answer in one of these. Good luck.

Yeah, I looked...and found lots of stuff with nothing that applied to me just like that link.

That's why I posted asking for help.

Silly me, assuming that a fresh install of HomeSeer into a bare operating system would work. I solved the problem by googling the SocketWrench software since the HomeSeer link doesn't work.
