    Smaller Current Clamps

Are there any smaller current clamps available for the Envi? My electrical box just doesn't have the space to fit the ones as standard.

    Yes

    or

I have the latter in my consumer unit, still a tight fit for me. They are meant to have a greater accuracy aswell (someone technical will know why, i'd say the small the space the closer to 90 degrees you get?)...

Ahh... nice... and since the magnetic field is proportional to the current and not the voltage, it should work here in the US too (I think, my EE was 20 years ago).

I remember my old consumer box being small in the UK. The one I have here in the US is much larger, but it's filled with more stuff - of course, we had a separate fuse box in the UK, whereas everything here is stuffed into the same box.

I think I'll order a couple and see how they work out.

Thanks very much for the pointer.

I'd be interested if you told us your results, i'm not sure anyones posted to confirm that the radio frequencies and current clamps work elsewhere in the world. I've never seen any advertised as US or UK only so would say its a yes.

In a mines smaller than yours competition my fuse box is a 20yr old wylex six way model (changed to MCB's), its more than a little close for comfort with a couple of current clamps in it and additional extra circuits (that for the purposes of the tape have definately not been added by me )
