This plugin is designed to interface Homeseer with Rainforest Eagle energy monitoring gateway for smart meters. It supports both the legacy gateway (EAGLE-100) and the EAGLE-200
INSTALLATION / CONFIGURATION
System Requirements:
This plugin is for HS3 or HS3PRO. It works with both Windows and Linux versions.
Plugin Installation:
Download and install from the updater (Energy Management section)
Plugin Configuration:
Go to the config page "PLUG-INS > RainforestEagle > Config ", select your gateway type, then enter the username and password you use to log into the cloud portal.

For the Legacy EAGLE gateway you will also need to enter your Cloud ID which is the last 6 alpha numeric characters of the Ethernet MAC address of your gateway. You can find it in the cloud portal, in settings > Internet.

If you want to connect locally to your Legacy Eagle rather than through the cloud, choose Legacy EAGLE - Local. For this to work you will need to disable local security. Log into the local web portal of your gateway, click the down arrow next to date, at the bottom of the page click the gear, and uncheck the security box:

then fill in the Mac ID field in the config page with the Zigbee Mac 16 alpha numeric characters.
