Support for module / optimizer-level data on SetApp Inverters?

Hello,

First off thanks for creating an awesome plug-in! I've been using a PLC to read Modbus over TCP registers, and this is great / much lighter-weight alternative.

I notice from the description that it says the plugin is able to retrieve module-level data for SetApp enabled inverters. Can you confirm this is true? I've been looking for a way to get that data for a while.

Hi Brian,

Yes, the plugin supports getting data from SetApp enabled inverters. It has to be enabled from the setup, and it marked as experimental for two reasons:
- Every firmware SolarEdge changes the payload
- It is being blocked by SolarEdge in more recent firmware versions, making it very hard to get the data. You can read about this here: https://github.com/drobtravels/solar...ocal/issues/24

So, to be honest, I don't think this option will be available much longer, since SolarEdge is actively blocking it. Sorry...!
