No updates since 1st August 2021

    Hi,

I've just gone to check some stats from my SolarEdge system this evening and see that HS has not updated any stats from the inverter since around 12:05 on 01/08/21. On checking the plugin there was no inverter listed?

I've re-added the inverter but still no data appears to be collected - whilst it is evening now and I would not expect any figures for generation, we do have a consumption meter fitted that would normally be updating...

I have also just updated the plugin to the current version - 4.0.11.0

Hi! That is really strange. Did anything happen on August 1st? A system update, power outage, HS4 restart, anything? There is no reason why your inverter was removed from the system, only a corrupt ini file might be a possible reason. Do you have a backup from before August 1st to check? Perhaps you can restore that ini file (<homeseer root>\Config\SolarEdge.ini).

What system are you using? Serial or network RS485? Could the IP address or COM port have changed?

Hi - no changes to IP. I'm using a network connection to the inverter.
Your comment re corrupted SolarEdge.ini prompted me to check the Windows System Logs - 01/08/21 @ 12:32:29 'Critical : Kernel-Power', looks like the system lost power at that time and the plugin connection to the inverter never recovered.

Ok, that might explain it. It shouldn't cause the ini file to corrupt off course...

Can you post your solaredge.ini file? Maybe there is something wrong that is causing why it doesn't work now...
