  • Error - Fixed!

When trying to pull up the config page from the interfaces tab, I received the error pasted below. This is a new HS install, running this plug in via trial mode, on a new machine, Windows 7 Home, 64 bit, latest Windows updates. Everything else, including other Ultra plug ins are running just fine. It almost seems like something didn't install correctly!? Uninstalled and re-installed the plug in, no luck.

System.MissingMemberException: Public member 'WEBUserRolesAuthorized' on type 'MarshalByRefObject' not found. at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Symbols.Container.Get Members(String& MemberName, Boolean ReportErrors) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.NewLateBinding.LateGe t(Object Instance, Type Type, String MemberName, Object[] Arguments, String[] ArgumentNames, Type[] TypeArguments, Boolean[] CopyBack) at ASP.hspi_ultraecm_hspi_ultraecm_aspx.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HSPRO\html\hspi_ultraecm\hspi_ultraecm.aspx:line 89

And to add, the plug in is running. After manually updating the configuration via the ini file, I received the following in the log file:

8/3/2010 11:51:30 AM UltraECM Error ECM Watchdog Timer indicates no response from the ECM Engine for 60 seconds. Attempting to reconnect ...
8/3/2010 11:51:30 AM UltraECM Info Database connection closed successfuly.
8/3/2010 11:51:31 AM UltraECM Info Database initialization complete. Ready to accept HomeSeer events into database.

UPDATE: Saw someone received the same error with UltraWeatherBug. So, as and FYI, HS is not running as a service.

    Fixed

Figured out what the problem was. For some reason, the bin directory was missing under the html/hspi_ultraecm directory. Manually created the directory, copied the dll into the directory and all is fine. Case closed.

I didn't think copying the plug-in dll to the plug-in bin directory was required anymore. What version of HomeSeer are you running?
Plug-ins: UltraMon, UltraM1G, UltraCID, Ultra1Wire, UltraLog, UltraWeatherBug, UltraPioneerAVR, UltraGCIR
