      Have u priced a GEM. I think by itself its 300 which is just a little more than 2 1240s but also u will get 32 channels of input, 8 one wire temp sensor inputs, And four counter inputs.

      Just seems like you get a lot more mpg with the GEM. I have one and am pleased with it.

        when i priced everything for the GEM i was at $500.. i have 2 x 1240's i had fs in the fs section at one time.... i was tempted to sell them both... and get a GEM myself.. im thinking im just going to get 1 or 2 more 1240's.... to get to 4 1240's

          I'm in exactly same situation. I'm surprised there are no 1240's for sale. Maybe we could help each other out, if I could get a decent price for 2x1240's, I'd sell them and get the GEM. What would you pay for 2x1240's, or what would you sell you 1240's for? PM me with details

            this plugin has gotten very slow when I start up my Homeseer.. I noticed the DB file is 54 megs.. how can I purge out the data.. im guessing thats part of my issue?

              The database is optimized on start-up. That's why the startup is a bit slow.

                is there a way to clear the data? make a default new DB but not lose my config and devices?
