  • can not find gamepad

I have a gamepad running via a virtual USB over network client (fabulatech.com) and Stipus plugin in HS2 finds it every time and it is very solid.

I tried to close down HS2 and load HS with this plugin - but when I click add gamepad nothing shows up.

I am using the DirectX API to find them. Very odd
What kind of joystick is it? DirectInput or XInput?
    Cheers,
    Bob

            can not find gamepad

Dont know any more. I have ripped it and soldered wires into it and there after wrapped it in tape

It was a cheap 10$ No name game pad. Can I look it up under drivers config?

I am not doing anything special to find the gamepads. It is a directx call. I will have a look and see what I can find. Maybe there is another call I am missing.
                Will let you know

Was there anything I could do to help you test?

                    Can you do the following:

                    1. Shutdown HS
                    2. Edit the hspi_BLGamepad.ini file and change debugLevel=true
                    3. Save ini file
                    4. Restart HS

Once HS is up and running go to the add Gamepad screen and then disable debug logging in the options web page.

Attach the BLGamepad-Detailed.log file zipped here and I will have a look
                    Cheers,

OK I see an error in the log. Now I need to figure out why you get it and others do not.
                          Cheers,

                            Try this:

                            http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=8109

It has worked for others with this error.

If it does not work then look up the install for dxwebsetup

                            Let me know
                            Cheers,
