I don't know how you could test the adapter, though it should be a regular AC 12V adapter.
Note that the kinect sensor needs to be both powered by the adapter (12V) and USB (5V), so make sure your USB port you use is powered.

Dead in the water.
Came home to find the VR not working. Found this in the log
Jun-23 11:33:31 AM Kinect DEBUG USB\VID_0409&PID_005A\5&131FBE43&0&1 status=NotPowered
Jun-23 11:33:31 AM Kinect INFO Kinect version 3.0.0.34
Jun-23 11:33:31 AM Kinect DEBUG Logger Initialized
Jun-23 11:33:31 AM Info Plugin Kinect has connected. IP:127.0.0.1:60640
Jun-23 11:34:04 AM Kinect ERROR Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Noticed the status is not powered. I bought an adapter but have no way to troubleshoot it.
Assuming the new adapter is the problem, is there anyway to test it?Tags: None
