    Z-Wave mouse trap!

I just saw in the HS store email that there is now a Z-Wave mouse trap! Never in a million years would I have thought of this but I gotta say, I like it! This one is up there with my girlfriend's connected toothbrush or that egg counter thing from a few years ago. I need a connected margarita madness.

There was that time when my son told me that the basement was smelling bad. "Bad as in musty?". "No. Bad in some other way". Dead mouse in the trap for God knows how long.

I realize that this is an old thread, but these traps are still on the market, and I wanted to share my experience. These things work great. They pair easily, have good range, and are very effective. I have caught 2 large rats and 5- 10 mice this spring/summer alone. I have one of these inside my concrete block BBQ/outdoor kitchen and they notify me every time when a mouse is caught. Good battery life too. I have only had to replace the batteries once after about 1.5 years.
