Figured I’d share. I’m running HomeSeer and Homebridge on a Raspberry Pi 4 powered via POE. Wanted a rack mount so I designed it and printed it in MJF Nylon. Turned out awesome!!
dibble9012 are you able to make another one of these. Would pay for it. Also, wondering if that would be the same spec for the RPi3 zee-s2 that HomeSeer has (which I have as my controller).
Unfortunately it is kind of expensive, due to the quality and size of the print. I didn't mind paying the price for the print as I really wanted a rack mount, and there aren't any commercially available. Total would be $115 shipped. I'll look for a cheaper solution, but that will trade some print quality for price. I love the MJF Nylon as it is quite strong, smooth (no print lines), and the tolerances are great. The size of it allows the PoE hat to fit perfectly, with room to spare for additional options and airflow.
Thanks for the complement, I love 3D design and printing and I was really happy how this turned out.
That is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! You need to sell these...
What the actual?!? When I make a sarcastic remark or joke it is moderated/deleted.
But you specifically go out of your way to label multiple HS4 issues that cause data loss/crash of HS4 to be "grumbles".
I can't even begin to put into words how offensive this is.
I have posted the STL files online for those that want to print this out themselves. One link is free, the other if you'd like to support my design, both are the exact same STLs. And of course let me know if you'd like me to custom design something. I'll work on posting a Raspberry Pi 3 version as well.
