      Here is another z-wave plus remote. It uses AAA bats. I've not used it but it looks good.

              ksum Did you get the pico remote? Do you need a separate hub for this or does it pair up directly with homeseer?

                  You'll need a hub, yes. A lutron Caseta pro hub will be sufficient.

                  There is that up front cost for the hub, but if you plan on buying a couple remotes it will pay itself off. Plus, the reliability you will gain and the 10 year battery life.

                  Well worth it!

                      $90 US plus? I will stick with my homemade arduino remote. I can put a huge battery in it for that much.
