    Kansas City Home Show proves HA still isn't moving forward

    Went to the KC home show today. Saw a vendor name in the company list of "Home Automation of Kansas City". Got excited that there might be some real stuff there. Patiently waited while my wife dragged me to every kitchen cabinet vendor and then finally got to look for the vendor. Turns out Home Automation still amounts to a security system and a central vacuum. Oh well....

          I'm happy to report that the last Home Show I went to in Calgary had a full booth set up by Quantum Electronics featuring the Leviton Home Control System which functions using X10 technology. There is still hope yet...
