Did anyone ever get their AXIS Gear motors?
I got one but it's Zigbee/BT and Z-Wave seems to have been dropped as an option - personally Imnot a fan of Zigbee as it seems much more prone to interference from 2.4Ghz Wifi compared Z-Wave which has dedicated frequencies in the 900Mhz range.

I'm just inches from pressing the buy button, but if it not works in EU it is kind of pointless

Gear generally works with anything that is looped. A straight string that needs to be angled out for operation definitely wouldn't be compatible.
Thanks for the confirmation.

Funny though, now that I have this ordered I'm looking at some nice new shades for my living room windows to use with Axis.
Nice! If you don't mind sending 'em, it'd be cool to post up some photos of it in action to our social media pages when the time comes. That's also a pretty awesome part of the product - you can pick the shade style you exactly want and simply upgrade to motorization when you're ready!

Indiegogo adds a little tag to the URL for each person that visits the site (for creeper-tracking purposes) so something must have got messed up with the link Bryan posted.

price of a unit? I did see that the zwave adapter is extra?
As @cheeryfool mentioned, the early bird is $95 USD and adding a Z-Wave chip is an additional $20.
I should also mention we're phasing out the early bird pricing in a week or so also!

So, is it just $95 plus whatever the z-wave option costs?
$500 seems to be for a BETA unit and involvement in the BETA program + a final shipping device - If I read that correctly

Zwave Automated Blinds
If you are interested in automated blinds, check out Pella Insynctive. I have them installed, their blinds-in and room side shades as well. All run on batteries, blinds-in uses a solar panel or magnetic DC voltage connector. The room side are all D-Cell batteries and they have been running for about 4 months with no battery changes yet.
There is no official support from HomeSeer but I notified them back in August about Pella integration. Their Insynctive site is actually very helpful with videos on how to do Zwave inclusion. You need their bridge device which when you are ordering these windows, you will likely be able to ask for it for free. I also added the battery to the bridge device (doesn't come with one and stays plugged into the wall) and its very worth it. Make sure they include it or you can buy it yourself online for less than $10.00 on Amazon like I did.
One thing to note is that some devices show up like battery and some unknown binary switch which do not function. The blinds-in it doesn't matter but the room side would be nice if they functioned. It would be nice for HomeSeer to make this a type to recognize and include in a way some of these objects do not get created to help confusion. Also, HomeSeer could reverse the Up and Down directions because Up and Down and Down is Up when you include it. Easy to overcome but worth noting.
There is another vendor out there that I found but lost and they do zwave battery blinds as well.
