How does a software know it's not the latest version? I run a software called Trinus that let's me connect a playstation VR headset to a PC. Been having issues with the latest versions of the software and have been running older versions. This weekend I tried to start it but just get message that I need to upgrade. Figured it was communicating with developer server. So I blocked it at the firewall and still the same message. Uninstalled it, disconnected the internet and re installed the older version as I still have .exe but still getting the message. If it's not connected to the internet how can it know it's not the latest version. Been in contact with tech support but no solutions yet. Anyway to fool program to think it's the latest version. With all the plugin developer hear I'm sure someone knows this.
