We came up highway 101 to 87 when we saw the smoke. It was pretty violent, i.e. there must have been some explosions. But our HS system still works. No dependency on the outside...

Rumors/Hear-say said it started in the lumber area but quickly spread to the paint dept. SJFD said it will be a while before they can investigate as the structure has to be secured before anyone can enter. Poured concrete outer walls tied to beams spanning between the walls. The roof collapsed so those concrete walls are "free standing" now. Not good in earthquake country.
