  • Meteor and Virgin Media

Has anyone tried a Meteor with a Virgin Media cable installation?
We've just switched to Virgin Media from BT and when I phone home, there are 3 rings only then nothing. The phone can still be answered but there are no more rings - and thats both ends too. ie when I call home, I only hear 3 rings, and the phone only actually rings 3 times.

Any ideas anyone before I go changing stuff or getting Virgin involved?

If your phone is only ringing 3 times I would get Virgin involved.

I'd get virgin involved, i've got a virgin landline and it rings five times before going on to voicemail. I know with BT you used to be able to alter how many rings before it went to 1571 (3/5/7 rings a bell) but i'm not sure if you can with Virgin.

        Sorted

Fixed it. Was nothing to do with Virgin after all. It was a setting in RRAS to do with routing and dial up.
Thanks for the swift replies guys.
