Problems with Port Forwarding on a BT Router

Has anyone in the UK mastered the art of setting up Port Forwarding on a BT Home Hub 3 here in the UK? I set up a Port Forward rule for a new application, called HomeSeer PRO, using port range 80-10200. Is this correct?
I cant get my iPhone to connect using the External IP Address in the HSPRO About screen, when I am away from home.

At home the LAN IP Address works fine over the wireless connection.

    Any suggestions?

You wouldn't set up a range but rather two distinct ports; maybe calling one Homeseer and the other Homeseer Touch. The range specificied would leave your Homeseer box open to exploits.
