Alexa routine works, but why do I see error msgs in log?

I setup a few Alexa routines which interface with HS3 and they have worked fine for some time.

Although they are still working, suddenly I see these messages in my syslog, when the routine is invoked :

Warning

JSON controldevicebyvalue ref 219 not found

Apr-06 17:44:47

Error

Problem serializing data for JSON request: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Anyone know what this means and how to fix?

The error message is basically saying it is trying to control a device which no longer exists.

Check to see if you have a device which has a reference of 219.

Thanks Jon00. Some of my Alexa routines, but not all, *had* stopped working and in an effort to get them working, I had made a slight mod. They then started working again, but it seems the mod wasn't the fix and on the contrary, were the cause of these msgs. Reverted - and all back to normal.
