As we all know, WAF is *huge* in home automation.
I have several Google Home devices around the house and have successfully set up many IFTTT Applets which listen for a phrase ("Lock Front Door" for instance). If I am in a room with one of my Google Home speakers and say "Hey Google" and then my IFTTT applet phrase, everything runs perfectly. This *also* works if my wife uses the Google Home speakers to control devices.
The problem occurs when we use our Android phones. If I am outside the listening area of one of our Home Speakers, *my* phone will recognize *either* of our voices and execute everything perfectly. However, even though I've invited her and she has joined my Home group (from the Google Home app on our phones), whenever she tries using Google Assistant on her phone to control things, she gets a "It looks like that device is not set up" error message.
I'm stumped on this one.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
