Rupp...Thanks for getting back to me. I am trying to use an HS device status (On/OFF) to trigger a device called SwitchBot which is a servo operated "button pusher" I have a mode on my t-stat that is not provided for in the phone app or the Honeywell plug-in here on HS. So I am planning to push the mode button on the t-Stat until I am in the correct mode using this SwitchBot device.
I have the hub that comes with it and so am able to get to the internet. From my IFTTT account I see that there are services available for both HS and SwitchBot. I am trying to determine if I need your service running on my HS platform in order to operate SwitchBot from an HS device status or can I just create an applet on IFTTT that will source an HS device condition and pass it thru to SwitchBot which will push the button.
I had looked at your product awhile back but did not have a scenario to try out so the license lapsed. I would need to buy it to trial it. That's why I was looking for documentation of how it works and how it is configured to created the connections. I will review the link you provided and let you know if I have more questions.Comment
