Pass parm to HS Event from IFTTT

So, I use Webhooks from IFTTT to trigger an HS event, but I'd rather not create separate events for everything I want to control, but would like to just pass a parm from the IFTTT Webhooks IFTTT activity to the HS Event. Is there a way to do this?

Not really. Homeseer Events do not have the capability to accept parameters. Nor is there a way from externally to run a script.

I suppose you could create a virtual dimmer switch, then have IFTTT set the dimmer level to a specific value (and have that specific value do something specific).

Of course who wants to run IFTTT and pay their ransom.
