    MyHS Remote Premium Service

There are lots of post related to up/down services and drops lately w/ MyHS and just wondering...Are people who are paying for the premium service seeing less drop/connect issues? I'd never even noticed this was an option, but 24 bucks is a drop in the bucket for what I spend on automation yearly.

It does not prevent the MyHS connection issues. It only allows you to connect to multiple HS systems. I pay for it so I can connect to my home and work HS systems.

Thanks for the quick replies. While drhtmal's reply clearly indicates they are rate-limiting connections of those who don't pay to upgrade, the profit's sounds like this is still an issue with the premium device as well. I dropped something like 10 times on April second and just wonder what that rate-limiting policy looks like. I'm sure I'll never know.

Just out of curiosity...Does anybody know if they maintain their own data center, or use an AWS like service...or likely a combination of both. I'm assuming it's truly "cloud based," not just a data center on the Internet since I'd think they need locations globally...and it's 2020.

DNS reverse lookup of the addresses show that they're hosted by vultr.com.
