MyHS stops and starts every day at 03:00:00

In the HS log I see every day:

7-15-2022 03:00:02 HomeSeer Info System connected to MyHS Service successfully with license ID xxxxx.
7-15-2022 03:00:02 HomeSeer Info System connected to MyHS Service, waiting for acknowledge...
7-15-2022 03:00:02 HomeSeer Info Starting the MyHS Service...
7-15-2022 03:00:00 HomeSeer Info Stopping the MyHS Service...

this repeats every day, why is that?

I do not see any entry in crontab that would explain this.

Not sure why, but mine is showing the same at 3:00am.

I have the same logging. In between stopping and starting the MyHs service I get the error : Scheduled backup did not run: De objectverwijzing is niet op een exemplaar van een object ingesteld.
i see in this topic the problem, but until now not any reaction what could cause this problem. Hope that there is anyone with a possible solution.

I saw this happen the other day. It may be doing it every day. No clue.

            [edit]
When I noticed it, it was more like 3PM eastern.

Me also. I wonder if HS is rebooting its servers on a regular basis.

rick Do you have an answer on this behavior. It is not a big issue but it is annoying. Everytime I look at my log I see this error.

It's not an error; rather MyHS doing its own housekeeping to ensure it is running smoothly. It's just stopping and restarting itself one a day.

It has to be local (built into HS4) as it is always 3:00AM regardless of where you live.

This is an easy way to work around memory leaks and hung/orphaned network connections. It may also be refreshing LAN/WAN ip addresses with find.homeseer.com. At least on the Pi image, register_with_find.sh is only run once from /etc/rc.local.

I think you'll find that the Pi runs register_with_find.sh every five minutes, courtesy of a cron entry (see /etc/cron.d/).

Function of this is to provide the " | Maintenance " link to the right of the main link. The main link is refreshed every five minutes by the main application.
