Cool Things To Do With HomeSeer & Node Red | Please add your cool things here!

This thread is for posting cool things that can be done with HomeSeer and Node Red (just like the title says). If you've done something cool and want to share it, please post your project here. Be as specific as possible. If it's something that would appeal to a bunch of folks, we'll turn it into a "How To" and we'll share it on our social media accounts and in a newsletter mailing. Here's the first one:

      PAN AND TILT CAMERAS :

      Buy this guy a beer! : https://github.com/bartbutenaers/nod...ib-onvif-nodes

node-red-contrib-onvif-nodes : (All instructions and how to on that link above) And he did all the hard work!
      • Add Motion Sensors /HS Device nodes (Status - - motion and no-motion as triggers) and Switch nodes to split or filter the actions
      • For the exterior of your home (set up the positions where you want the camera to pan to if motion and home position for no motion. Just replace the input nodes with your nodes.
      • For streaming to your devices and all other notifications, you know what to do (I use Android and TinyCam Pro)
      And a whole lot more.........

      Eman.

I used node-red to convert HS4 device data and send it to influxDB then to grafana.

Using Node-Red to get the "time from home" of family members, either via a MQTT request sent from my mobile app that sets a HS device status with "time from home" or from a Google Home request that speaks the distance from home via Sonos speakers

I just posted a new topic for how to integrate broadlink (rm pro+) with HS4 using node red. local Broadlink control
            https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...-local-control

This gives you universal IR and RF control locally (depending on broadlink device). Better than logitech harmony and cheaper

I just posted a new topic for integrating Wyze devices (Plugs, Bulbs, Cameras) with HS4 and node red
              https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...s-on-off-state

This allows to control ON/OFF and check the state of Wyze devices using the Wyze app API

OK so now have mine working.
Have one flow to manage my roborock vac( via HS)

another flow that pulls data from my solar system and a calc for potential generaltions of the Arrays and feeds it into a influx db. I have the solar system data feed into HS via mqtt so I can generate alert based on power use vs battery capacity( love being off grid but does take some effort around monitoring etc)
Also playing with some flows for broadlink IR\RF transmitter, some sonoff devices I have that I have not flashed with tasmota,
Also looking at the Sonos flow capability to manage playing Fav\stations but just starting with that.
Very very cool capability and allow itergration of other items that dont nativily work in HS.

Has anyone played with the dashboards as an interface?

I reversed engineered a flow from reddit that integrates Nest products with Homeassistant. Have NodeRED monitor if my Nest Hello doorbell is rung and if so, turns on a virtual device. Depending on the time of day and if we are home I get an announcement on all of my Echo devices (using Jon00's voice monkey plugin).

Plenty of other stuff I will be able to do with it eventually. Complete newb to NodeRED.

                              - turn my propane fire place on/off while tracking propane consumption
                              - Integrate with Blue-Iris for security cameras
                              - Pull SolarEdge solar panel metrics
                              - Alexa TTS
                              - interact with Concord home security

                              - read RMTemp thermometer (garden box temp)

                              Wishlist:
                              - I want to be able to control my rectec smoker grill
