    Node Red 2.0

Has anyone tested Node Red 2.0 with HomeSeer? I know it was just announced, but looking to see if anyone has tried it yet as a couple of the upgrades appear to be useful.

I haven't tested it yet, but I would like to confirm it is working with the HomeSeer contrib. I didn't see anything in the release notes that could break it, but if you try it please report here to confirm there is no problem. Thanks.

Since spud confirmed the release notes didn't suggest anything which would cause a problem, I went ahead and upgraded. My "production" flows are currently working as well as the test dashboard.

Does anyone know if node-red v2 has overcome this issue?.......

Known issues with Node-Red release 1.0.2
            • Currently, Node-Red is not passing a user/pass to HomeSeer when it issues a request for data. This will result in the inability to get device information (the device list will be empty or some devices will be missing). The solution is to make sure the option "No password required for local subnet" is checked in Setup and do not assign any users to your devices.

This wasn't a problem in Node-red itself, but in the HomeSeer contrib. This problem has been fixed since version 1.0.3 of the HomeSeer contrib, so if you install the latest (1.0.6) you can optionally add a user/password when you configure the HS Server in node-red.

Brilliant, thanks for that. Updated the contrib, added the username and password and unchecked the "No password required" bit and its working.
