    FlowForge

I ran across this today and was surprised it hadn't been mentioned here yet.

Nick O'Leary's new company (and, yes, he left IBM):https://flowforge.com/

FlowForge is a free, open-source platform for managing multiple instances of Node-RED. (https://flowforge.com/docs/)

FlowForge Cloud is basically Node-RED-as-a-Service on the internet. (https://flowforge.com/product/)

I do not believe this is free. Look at the Product page. Your last link: https://flowforge.com/product/ There are 2 options. $15 per project per month or an Enterprise level.

It's a bit confusing. The FlowForge Platform (the software) has a free community edition and will also have a licensed enterprise edition. Both of these are installed and run on-premise or at a managed CoLo (i.e. your own servers). FlowForge Cloud (SaaS) is hosted on their servers and is what's described on the product page.

For me I already run Node-Red as a service - and why would I want to run it 'in the cloud' when I can have it local?

I don't think DIYers are their target customers. Managing a couple of instances (4x, in my case), isn't worth the overhead of a management platform. The community will be more of the testers for the platform. An Enterprise, running thousands or even tens of thousands of instances is a different story. Coming from the IBM ETS Group, I'm sure Nick has a strategy and a plan. Being that he has private equity funding from the CEO of Gitlab, he also must have a reasonable revenue model.
