Using a slider to control a dimmable light

Novice to Node Red; can someone show me how to create a dashboard slider to control a Z-Wave light? It's probably obvious but I can't figure it out.

    Thanks

Have you seen the third post, Dealing with dimmable devices in the Keeping a Node-Red Dashboard in sync with HomeSeer thread? It has a sample flow you can import just for this scenario. Not that I used 2 Dashboard items. The first is a toggle to change z-wave switch between Off and Last as opposed to Off and On so that the Last Dim Level is used when the light is turned on. The second is a dashboard slider to set a Dim Level.

Excellent writeup. I'm still struggling with Node Red but your explanation helps a lot.
