Unexpected response when I leave the control of the feature empty

    I have some unexpected/unwanted behavior.

    I have the following output:

Name:	image.png
Views:	87
Size:	12.0 KB
ID:	1623512

    With the following change node.

Name:	image.png
Views:	70
Size:	22.1 KB
ID:	1623513

This is working in case II also set a range for the control:

Name:	image.png
Views:	68
Size:	83.2 KB
ID:	1623514

When I don't set a range I will get the following error:

Name:	image.png
Views:	71
Size:	4.8 KB
ID:	1623515

Any idea why this happens and how I can prevent this without setting the range under controls/

Have you tried first Moving the incoming msg.payload to something else and then defining msg.payload.value maybe as shown below? You can then Delete msg.incoming if you really want to.

No, but I found the issue. A topic update was missing in the injection Node. And that resulted in the fact that the device value would only be updated in case the control is also set in HomeSeer.
