    Web Request from Homeseer

I am looking to do a web request as part of an event in homeseer. When an event is triggered I just want to send a request to say http://192.168.1.32:8000
    any suggestions?

You can run an immediate script command as an event action using hs.urlaction

The syntax in the immediate scrip command would be something like:

    Code:
    &hs.urlaction("http://192.168.1.32:8000/", "GET", "", "")
    Cheers

I tried this and it does not seem to work. If i put the url in a web browser it works fine. here is what I am using> I also want to note im using a Zee S2.
      Code:
      &hs.urlaction("http://192.168.1.160:81/admin?profile=6&trigger@user=admin&pw=xxxx", "GET", "","")

You can also try as an immediate script:

        PHP Code:
        &hs.GetURL("http://192.168.1.160""/admin?profile=6&trigger@user=admin&pw=xxxx"False81

Anything in the HS logs? You may need to create a small script and use the POST method with hs.urlaction. The link I provided in the previous post has some info on that. What type of device are you connecting to?

            Cheers
