A friend is looking for a replacement for a Vivint monitored system. It uses z-wave door and window sensors. It has an outdoor keypad which he can use to disarm the alarm. If we were to replace this with a HomeSeer based system we will be able to re-use the z-wave door and window sensors without too much problem I think. But I really don't have any experience with keypads.
Is there a z-wave battery operated keypad that could be used to trigger an event if the proper code was entered? In the event I can toggle a virtual device that signifies armed or not.
