Hello- still getting started in my HA capabilities. But have my own server up and and running with HS3, and have it hooked into my Lutron lighting system as well as the remote blinds system and I am starting to add Alexa to the house.
I was wondering- since you are alre sdy adding multicolor LEDs to the new switches: why not add either a button or a way (perhaps we can just do it in software) to change the color of a lightbulb and have the LEDs match that color as they change. So that if you have RGB lights you can tell what color they are set too.
I could conceivably create an event that detects a switch hold event after a double tap to trigger a color change. But I think it would be easier with a dedicated slider or some such which is then displayed on the color LEDs.
