    Lost Z-Wave Data

The PC I'm running HomeSeer on ran into problems this morning. I think it got hung doing a Windows update. I had to hard boot, and when HomeSeer came back up, I had no Z-Wave devices. Is there any way to get these back? I can do a rescan, but it's like I'm starting from scratch (again).

You can restore a recent HomeSeer database config file. Are you backing up HS3? If not there are 10 copies of the config file auto backed up in the HomeSeer HS3\Data folder. Sort these by date to find the most recent one.

That was the information I needed. I had copied those files to a backup when this all started, and had what I needed.

I did not realize this was a rolling copy of the database. I thought it was incremental. I deleted all the files from today, and the one from 4/3 worked. There is one update missing, but I can easily fix that.

      THANKS!!!!!
