    New HS3Pro Owner

It's official. I pulled the trigger this morning on HS3Pro. Can't pass up the Black May sale. I'm hoping since the ad says Week 1 that maybe plugins will go on sale later in the month as well. I can already tell my wallet and WAF are going to be low this month

Plugins are generally written by independent developers. They set their pricing. HomeSeer can't discount them.

Got one of those before and like it.
But be careful if you use script to configure static IP etc.
The script configure it with the old ways, and make me lots of trouble.
Specially if you want to use Wi-Fi and Ethernet..
Better configure it manually by SSH to it.

With "appliance" type devices like this I prefer to do an IP Reservation in my DHCP server and not have to worry about it.

Which I ended doing just because I wanted to have a functionality of disable automatically Wi-Fi when Ethernet is connected and the reverse... Which I was not able to do with static IP (bug is this os release)!

Depends on classification of bug. I don't know what version of Raspbian they are running on the Z-Net, but between Jessie and Stretch the "common" method of configuring a static IP completely changed and now uses the dhcp config file and is just confusing.
