    Good news spudbw.

Noticed over the last couple of years every time some one writes a script to access on line streaming services (where you still need to log in with user name and password) company with live services bans the KODI script or plugin.

BTW seeing that Roku is reading my KODI HDMI ports via the AVR

KODI ==> AVR ==> LCD TV (with built in Roku).

While watching a movie with Kodi I will get a Roku pop up for same named movie whatever it may be on the Roku service.

Googling on the KODI forum see this:

    Request - YouTube TV

Looks like requests started last year and this year it is being worked on.

That said it is available now for Roku and there is a Homeseer Roku Plugin.

Here last LCD TV came with built in ROKU

    Thanks Pete,

Are you using kodi with YouTube TV (not uTube)?

    Kodi.

I utilize Intel based Ubuntu 16.04 mini computers running KODI which is sort of my standard STB here.

There is a KODI plugin offered by Spud.

Turning on Youtube TV vis iNet

I can turn my TV on via the iNet. What I would like to do, after the TV is on, is, via iNet, to choose a live TV channel to play using YouTube TV. All of this relates to having the TV go on and off to make the house seem inhabited when I am away. My dog also wants the TV on so he can watch the Westminster Kennel Club.

    Has anyone done this?
