I also use MimoLite to open a driveway gate and to open some garages. Simple relay and has input to wire a magnet door contact to know if its open or closed.

Yesterday I configured MIMO Lite to open and close a roll-up door.
It's just dry contacts. But also has an input I hooked up to a non-powered doorbell button.

I have 2x Fibaro dual relay switches in my gate. One can disable the entry/exit push buttons and stops the auto shut function by interrupting the sensors through a simple relay
The other one is used to control the gate open/close.

I have it automatically disable the entry switches at night for security, but the remote fobs still work.
You can either use a zwave with dry contacts or if not dry, would have to use a relay as my gate is 24v.

    All works a treat.

But is it a relay, push button style? It says "high output power" so i dont know if it's just closing the attached lines to complete the circuit or is it connected to a load and passing power through it like a dimmer?
It is powered by AC 120V but the contacts are dry and contain no voltage. When you send a command to it then it will simply close it's contacts for the amount of time you tell it to.
You might look into using easytrigger, it has a lot of uses for this sort of thing.

So I'm getting an automatic gate for the driveway, and we've found that we're going to use either the Mighty Mule MM260 or the Strongway 47820 kits.

Both have connection on their control boards for a "push button" connection to cycle the gate. There no power to these connections it's just closing the circuit momentarily to move to the next cycle. (i'm not sure if this is the same as how a garage door works or not).

Does anyone know of a Zwave+ device that will work?

    Thanks all!
You could try one of these.
