  • Controllable Power Strips -> WiFi? ZWave? Aeon Labs DSC-11?

    Help!

I have 4x of the Aotec DSC-11 units and LOVE THEM.

I need some more controllable Power Strips for HS3 control. The Aotec units are no longer on Amazon.

Anyone have any leads on something that HS3 can run? I have UPB, Z-Wave, Cat6 and WiFi available where I need these Power Strips.

    TIA

What is your question? I have 8 of them installed and working.

You can’t buy the Aotecs anymore, ANYWHERE. Even used on eBay. :O

You must have added to it after initially posting

They are hard to find. I understood Aeon was going to replace them with Z-Wave plus, but it hasn't happened yet. I picked up a couple of these in 2016 and they worked well

        Amazon link

The ones I purchased were about $110, they have gone up in price. They can be controlled, but they do not report energy.

No. I sold them, but I was controlling them by http commands to them. I built some simple basic scripts in the device. The newer WiFi use Lua programming, but can do the same thing. IIRC the documentation walked me through it pretty well.

I’m close to releasing a plug-in for Tuya Wi-Fi devices. Lots of Tuya powered power strips on Amazon (been happy with them so far, running3 real and 4 more for testing)

Will do, give me about a week. Device control is solid now, just working on the configuration / account editor then I'll be ready for others to help test as well.

That is super good news. They are a great product so I don’t understand why they wouldn’t continue to produce them.
