I do not have the time right now to create a nice how-to, but will do a step by step how-to as soon as i can.

But here is the github page of Winthing .
You first need to install Maven And java sdk. After that you will be able to compile the Winthing package via cmd
....
For now I am able to remotely start a browser on a windows machine, with the webpage i want. I also can start a program. I can know when my pc is connected on the net via mqtt, etc.
This is definitely an alternative for Linux users VS the windows script of Jon00 wich provide remote access too.

If i take the time to present this and create a how-to, it's because i hope there will be some nice ideas about Winthing usage that we can all benefit from.
The package is rock solid for me since 1 month or more
