Just thought people here would appreciate these switches I have never seen anything quite like it. Its a wireless light switch that doesn't have battery's, its connects using zigbee and generates enough power to send signals with the force used to press the button.
Through a family member I was able to join a test program and receive one (I don't believe you can buy them yet).
Illumra will start selling them later this year.
It comes with a plate to surface mount it or you can put it in normal light switch junction box.
currently I have only connected it to my Hue hub but I plan on using it with home seer to trigger events.
Im really excited this will save me so much time and money running wires and putting holes in walls.
I attached some pictures if you want to see what it looks like.
