Venstar Thermostat Plugin

The 7900 looks like it would be a perfect replacement for Nest. Would love to see a plugin for that model.

I would love to see a PI for Venstar. I like the idea of a non-cloud dependent thermostat. Maybe one of the talented coders here like spud , bpwwer , Blade , or , could get this going.

Those are very nice looking Thermostats. The problem I would have is I can't use one so I can't test against it. My heating is all baseboard which is line voltage. However they have an open API and local control available so it should be rather easy to develop for.

I'm surprised that there isn't one already. The Colour touch is amazing.
If all else fails then there is a beta in Vera that I'm trialling.
