    Homeseer and Risco alarm equipment

    Hi.
    I'm totally new with Homeseer.

I'm wondering if homeseer can communicate with risco alarm products?

There are only a couple of alarm system plugins that interact with Homeseer, I use the DSC 1864. I havenโ€™t heard of anyone using a Risco alarm.

I utilize wired Risco 180 ceiling PIR's and have tested one outdoor Wired Risco PIR with my Leviton Omni Pro 2 combo panel.

I do not know anything about their new wireless / cloud based alarm panel.

You are the first person here on the forum to mention their new products.

Just wondering if I need some extra hardware to be able to communicate with them.

I've bought this for my setup so far:
        - UZB1
        - RFXtrx433E (since I have quite a few nexa products)

        Of what I've been able to find out online the risco alarm is running on;
        • Frequency: 868.65 MHz/433.92 MHz
So i guess I'm covered with those two transceivers, if not the UZB1 only supports the zwave protocols.

I guess one "just" have to figure out how the risco protocol is, I guess they have their own proprietary one.

          Hi
I know this is a old one but ...

          I have a Risco agility 3 alarm.
I have tried using the wireless I/O module to get a signal if the alarm is on or off through the relay into Homeseer with a Z-wave module.
          This worked and not worked.
I got the signal inte Homeseer but the risco I/O module is junk.
          It gives no reliabel output.
Sometime it works and sometime not.
And i have tried two of this I/O modules and both was not reliabel.

Did you ever found out a way to communicate with Risco alarm ?

            I didn't in HomeSeer.
I switched to Home Assistant, there is a Risco Cloud integration there that gives me a complete status of all sensors, and the status of the entire system (armed or not).
Pretty easy to set up, I just created a second user on the system and used that specifically for the plugin.
