I'm getting the same thing. I've already fixed it but I hadn't bothered pushing out a release yet. Since others are getting it, I'll go ahead and put up a new release on GitHub.

Down loaded the new version, disabled the plugin, copied in the new plugin and restarted the plugin. a little over 2 hours the plugin started failing the exact same way. As before restarting the plugin correct the error.

BTW, I'm assuming the plugin loaded but since the plugin never updates it's version number I can only assume that.

Try restarting HS3, please. The version number should update.

Do you think this new version is worth trying on my end? I recall you saying you hadn’t had the time to look at my issue, but am curious if there is anything I can do to help you (or try).

It's probably not going to fix your crash, but you could try it.

Did the full restart, check the version, which is correct, and still getting the error. Here is the last one.

Inoticed it showing the internal IP address, 127.0.0.1, rather than the Eithernet address. It may be completely normal I'm making a note about it.

Nope, I'm getting them too. Looking into it...

                    Timon: The 127.0.0.1 is normal.

Edit: Somehow I forgot to install the debug build on my HS3 when I pushed out the last update, so I don't have the debug logging I need to deal with this. So I'll have to wait until the issue crops up again in my instance before I can do anything effective.

Okay, I lied, kind of. I overhauled how login throttling works a bit and hopefully this should fix the problem. I'm not going to make this a proper release until I'm sure that it works, but here's a debug build if you'd like to try it. It's going to spam your HS3 log pretty well.

I'll try the debug build. BTW, the last release build did make things better just didn't fix it totally. It's run about 24 hours since I last had it fail wherein before it might only go a couple of hours.

Oh, I was wondering, under what condition would one get the "Not Closed" status? If I stop it in mid stream I get the "Stopped" status.

I'm guessing that Liftmaster never issues a Locked status when the locking bold gets thrown. That's fine as it's an option on most Liftmaster openers now. When I got mine it was standard with the 8500 series.

BTW, for anyone getting a new opener I highly recommend the 8500 series jackshaft openers over the normal overhead ones. they are much harder to break into and not having the opener in the middle of the ceiling is great.

Agree. I’ve got three of them for my hi-lift doors and they are also very quiet.

Looking at the door from inside the garage, are the motors (and hence the outlet) mounted to the right or left side?

You can mount the 8500 series on either side of the door. It just needs to be able to connect to the jack shaft.

Thanks, I thought it was only on one side.
