    Just looking for simple NWS alert mechanism

    I have been using weatherXML for many many years. But all I really use it for is NWS alerts. I take any local alerts and do a text2speech announcement over Sonos.

    It has been broken lately and I was wondering if there are other plugins or simple scripts anyone has used for my simple use case.

    I use weatherXML for alerts from NOAA and has been working, except for one issue. If I put anything in the filter for "does not contain" then I get no alerts, if I leave those blank then it works fine.
    HS3 SEL running Pro Edition 3.0.0.531 on Ubuntu 18.04, mono 5.20, 656 devices, 209 events.
    Plug-Ins: Chromecast, Device History, EasyTrigger, Ecobee, JowiHue, LutronCaseta, MeiUnifi, PHLocation2, Pushover 3P, SDJ-Health, Sonos, WeatherFlow, weatherXML
    Scripts: SparkMan's Lock Event, 5 of Jon00 scripts.

      Just to circle back around. I got weatherxml working again. I think it was an operating system issue with windows vista. I upgraded to windows 10 and all is working.

      My use case is I am wanted to change the color of my lights when an alert is read.

      I will probably try it with bllog as there is no trigger for an alert.

        You should be able to trigger off alert device changing
