  • Database locked. What does it mean and how to fix it?

    Getting this message in the log. What does it mean and how to fix it?
    Mar-10 4:41:23 AM Error Log Database failed to open. File: C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS3\Logs\HomeSeerLog.hsd, Exception=database is locked database is locked
    Mar-10 4:40:18 AM Warning Log Database failed to open, waiting then retrying...database is locked database is locked

    I was having log issues after updating to 3.0.0.500. When I moved on to 3.0.0.520 the issues seemed to have resolved. Not sure if this is the same issue for you, but might be worth a try.

      I'm also having database locked issues "SQL Exception adding record(s) to the LOG database(0): database is locked database is locked, Code=5 "

      how did you get a copy of 3.0.0.520?

          on this page right click on download hs3 ( Linux or windows)

          copy link adress.

          than just change http://homeseer.com/updates3/SetupHS3_3_0_0_500.msi to wtv version you are looking for... let's say 23 ( the last one )

            thanks, I installed 520 2 days ago and all seems ok, no more strange errors.
