  • Global Cache in the Garage

Thinking about repurposing my WF2IR for the garage whereas I’d hook one port to an opener and use a beam break sensor and reflector on the door on another to detect if it’s open or not and maybe the 3rd for vehicle detection with an arduino and tag in the vehicle. Think it’s reliable enough? I only ever used it to output IR. Was also thinking of getting that chamberlain gate opener with the three outputs and dry contact sensors for homelinc integration. Thoughts?

Did you mean to say WF2CC or IP2CC ? The one that you've mentioned won't work under any of your scenarios. I hope it's a typo.
