  • Purchasing multiple items

I love purchasing directly from the HomeSeer store. The only thing I don't like is how they handle purchasing multiple of the same item.

Rather than have 3 and 5 packs just setup the price break points. So if I purchase 4 WD200 dimmers I'll get all 4 at the 3 unit pricing. If I needed 9 WD200 dimmers I'd get them all of them at the 5 unit and above pricing. HS could then easily add higher quantity pricing say quantity 25 pricing if they wanted.

This also reduces the number of stocking units as you don't multiple SKU's for 1, 3 and 5 packs. You just add a WD200 to you cart then the quantity and the price will be adjusted and extended at the appropriate unit cost for that quantity.

Example: I'm going to need 6 or 7 dimmers in the next few days. As it stands I have to purchase 5 at the 5 unit price and other 2 at the single pricing when I really should be able to enter 7 units and they would all be charged at the 5 unit and above pricing.

When I bought all of our devices (we moved into a new home) I called HS and asked them to price it.
