Is a PlugIn needed for GoControl TBZ48?

Setting up a new ZWave home with a GoControl TBZ48 thermostat using HS3
the stat shows up when adding it to the network but was wondering if you need to use a plug-in or will it work with the base application?

It should work just fine with just HS3 and the Z-Wave plugin. You will want to create events to control the stat.

I have two of these and they work fine with the HS included Z-Wave plugin.

Thanks Rupp been using HS for 20 + years and you've always been helpful! Getting a SmartStick+ is probably the way to go but not giving up on the Z-Troller just yet.
Strangely the Stat sets up fine in HS2 but not in HS3 using the same Z-Troller see the queries below

Just to follow up after optimizing the Zwave network and adding and removing the Stat again it has the correct classes on HS3 also setting parameter 23 to 8319 as describe in this thread has help with reporting status https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/th...erating-status
